Chia Pudding | 5-day overnight breakfast challenge | Vegan, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free

Ch-ch-ch-chia! These seeds are not for growing plant pets.

.

When I researched this seed, I found something interesting. “Chia” means “strength” in the ancient Mayan language. Mayan warriors used to eat chia before going into battle.

.

While battle is not on your agenda today, who doesn’t want to get stronger? Chia could help.

The chia lesson for today is: water your seeds.

A lot of times I forgot about all the things I’ve accomplished and skills I’ve developed. This does not water my seeds. It makes me more fearful of change and growth.

.

But, when I water my own seeds by embracing those skills and talents, I start to bloom like a chia seed! Chia seeds are tiny black seeds that are annoying to clean up when they fall. But, with water, chia seeds plump up and take on a whole other form. They GROW.

.

When I was traveling, I thought I had to give up cooking because I didn’t have my kitchen. But, once I realized I was a chef and could cook anywhere, I started to grow and bloom. My friends supported my endeavors, bought meals from me and this made me bloom even more. But I had to water my own seed first.

.

What skill or talent of yours makes you bloom?
