Have you jumped on the Sourdough bandwagon? Don’t you just hate discarding half of your starter to feed it each time? Well, good news, you don’t have to waste it! It turns into great fry bread- or flatbread pizza. And, it has all the good probiotics in it too.
It can all be made in a nonstick pan. No oil is required.
This was a LIVE instagram video. Thank you @connor.cooks for the great inspiration to make a meal out of starter that you would normally throw out! The starter has great probiotics so you’ll do yourself a favor to eat it this tasty way.
This a wonderful way to repurpose leftovers and make it an exciting new meal. They are delicious, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and addictive for some reason.
Pictured here are the pizzas that Connor and I made on the show- we dressed them a bit Italian with Prosciutto and some others more Southwest with jalapeños and peppers.
This is less of a recipe, and more of quick pizza how-to with some of our favorite toppings. So below, you’ll find some ideas of how to personalize your fry bread pizza. (It’s more fun that way anyway)
