Scared of ginger? It looks like little arms and it’s easy to buy it pre-prepared in the market. But, you can save a lot of money doing it yourself and get tons more of the vital antioxidants when you do it yourself.

First, break off an arm from the ginger. Use a spoon to remove the skin. This is the easiest way I find and whenever I show people they are so amazed and relieved at the same time. It works that well!

After peeling it, grate it on a microplane. Then, receive it in the fridge for a week or so. Add it to soups, smoothies, or make a salad dressing or dumpling dipping sauce with it.
