Ingredients (Serves 1, taster portion serves 2)

2 teaspoons unsalted peanut butter

1 teaspoon unsweetened apple sauce

1 small slice of bread or English muffin half (whole wheat preferred)

1/8 teaspoon or sprinkle of ground cinnamon

Few slices of Granny Smith apples for garnish (optional)
Mix the peanut butter and apple sauce together. Meanwhile, toast the bread. Once toasted, spread the apple butter on the toast and top with cinnamon. Garnish with a few slices of apple for extra crunch. This snack is a great alternative to peanut butter and jelly!
