Simple Fruit Salad

There’s no better way to ring in the summer then fresh strawberries and blueberries. Their flavors are luscious in the summer and are readily enjoyed with just some bananas. Here is simple combo of fruit that serves as a great breakfast side or for a fruit shake. I know it’s easy, but it was too beautiful to not include here. 
1 banana
Handful of blueberries
10 sliced strawberries
It holds in the fridge for at least 3 days if the fruit is fresh. Try to use a banana that is not too ripe as it will continue to ripen and spoil if you keep the fruit salad. Instead use a banana that has just turned completely yellow.
Fruit salad pictured as a side to eggs over-easy and a flour tortilla. I sneaked some mushrooms, green onions, and tomatoes into the eggs as well for a little more flair. The meal was not only nutritionally complete but satisfying as well.
