Ingredients (Serves 4):
- 1 cup couscous
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Mix olive oil and salt with couscous in a large shallow pan or bowl. Rub like sand so oil coats all couscous granules. Make a sand like texture. Add a little water, about ¼ cup just until it soaks in 10 minutes. Water shouldn’t be noticeable in pan or plate.
- In medium pot, bring 1 cup of water to boil, then add couscous. Stir, and then remove from heat. Let steam 5 minutes. Then, fluff with fork.
